Api, What Can I Say

Thought I'd share this with you all as I am really impressed and others might need the service. I needed more test tubes for my test kit but did not want to spend at least £10 on 24. So I dropped API (USA) an email on Saturday night asking where I could them from. Got an email back the following day saying they would pass it on to the UK arm who would contact me. So far so good. I received the email from the UK office on Tuesday saying they would send 24 new tubes if I forwarded my address, which I duly did. Getting pretty impressed at this point, but not overly hopeful. And guess what, 24 new tubes delivered today, free of charge. If only every company out there had this kind of customer service. This gesture alone will probably mean they have a life long customer. Well done API

API makes some great products in my humble opinion anyway, but this is welcome news. I recently broke a tube myself. Now if we could only get them to make their test kit colors a bit wider so you can tell the differnce between the readings...............especially with the pH & Nitrate.

I lost all four of my tubes a while back and I too contacted them to ask where I could get the tubes from. They sent me 4 new ones in the post free of charge aswell.

I ended up just buying some generic test tubes on eBay. The API ones break so ridiculously easy, I was breaking one every day or two during my cycling. Bought some generic brand ones with thicker glass and I've yet to break even one of them, many months down the line now. I know I had to pay for them, but I'm happy to have some test tubes that don't break when I look at them.
