Anything Else I Can Have In A 48ltr?

Not really as they prefer to be in groups of 5+. They are a schooling fish and like to interact with their own kind. Keeping them in too small a group usually causes them to hide away.

would you advise to stick to ottos if they dont have any of these certain cory's?

as soon as i see some of them cory's i will defenatly pick some up, if not ask to bring some in later on so i can get some in the end

so atm 6 gouramis and then either some pygmy cory's or some ottos. ok, how many cory's? 5-8 did you say?

how many ottos would i be able to have in do you recon?

Ottos prefer a mature tank and can be quite difficult to keep.
5-8 Cories would be fine in that tank. If your lfs doesn't have any, you can always ask them to order some in.

well iv had this tank for 1 year now so it is a mature tank, the ottos seem to be ok in i atm :touchwood:

however there is always room for some little cories if they do get too hard to keep and die

Sorry, forgot you already had the Ottos...
You should be able to house a group of 5 Pygmy Cories in there also.
