anyone willing to post me a TINY apple snail, free of charge?
you'd have no idea how grateful i'd be, and i only need a teeny one

so if anyone has some little apple snails swarming their tank...?

thank you so much guys :)

Iain

P.S
you could just send it in a damp cotton wool pad, in a sandwich bag, in an envelope
(might cost about 40p at max, but i'd be so grateful)
:* :* :*

Can i ask... Why?

Mine have laid some eggs so if they hatch and slide down i will sort you a few out :)

Cheers.

I have a slight algae problem, and a guilty love for snails :)
Along with an empty bank account... it leaves me stuck :(
if you could send me a few babies, i'd be so happy :d:D
Cheers :)

Cheers Al, I didn't know that. What reason is that?

There big big fat and messy lol. I had 2 normal size apples in a 70l with fish the fish all died due to ich and me being a noob. The snails in a 70l grow huge the female is the size of a tennis ball! due to the big tank giving her a chance to grow. She gave me approx 1000 baby snails which i split into 60,70 220l tanks the ones in the 220 grow bigger and have brighter shells then the smaller tank so stunts there growth although they are healthy in way. 2.5g is the recomended size for 1 adult at a push 2G min. Having 200 or so left there tank sticks when i do there 4 day water change lol

Thanks for the info. I didn't realise a small tank would stunt their growth. Mine came from Littlemonkey and her biggest was huge!

Cheers.
