hey all

im toying with the idea of buying 50kg worth of roman harlequin gravel (black and white)

does anyone else use the roman gravel, and is it any good?

im not sure if its going to look tacky. and its alot of cash for 50kg of the stuff, lol

any piccys would be great of any dark (black) substrates etc etc

many thanks

oh gosh erm i don't remember but 1 bag covers 1 square foot (the small £3-4 bags) hope that helps?

Its not bad stuff, ive got just black mixed it in one tank with some of the natural black gravel ive got in the tank downstairs. I prefer the natural personally but thats just me, also the gravel ive got is much finer. If you wanted something finer Unipac (which is what ive got) do a black and white gravel http://www.unipacpet.com/ look under micro gravel and its there. I got the black stuff for a good price from http://warehouse-aquatics.co.uk i think it was £2 for a 2.5Kg bag it did go up to £2.50 but its still cheaper than the roman stuff that ive seen. I see they now have a new website and its not listed but it might be worth dropping them a line and seeing if they can get it in (might just be it hasnt been added to the new site)
