Anyone Seen The Aqueon Evolve?

It comes in 2, 4, and 8 gallons. Comes with built in filter and LED lighting system. I think the 4 and 8 gallons are ok but I don't love the 2 gallon. They're also definitely overpriced. Cheapest I've seen is $40 for the 2 and $55 for the 2.

I want to buy one as an experiment but I'm not sure if I want to pay one more dollar on amazon ($49.99 for evolve 4 and fluval chi is $48.49) and lose 1 gallon. Not sure which a betta would prefer.

Which should I get the Fluval Chi 5 gallon or the aqueon evolve 4. I want a betta, and thinking about 5 galaxy rasbora and ghost shrimp.

the bigger the better, but are you sure you cant find any thing larger because you will be a little bit over stocked

I've had the Chi and there is way too much evaporation. Not worth the money.

I don't know about the Chi but I have a Spec and the current is EXTREMELY strong for a Betta. I had to tie a piece of fabric over the outtake valve to keep the current down. Check user reviews to make sure this isn't a Hagen-product characteristic.

Personally I think this is Aqueon's comeback response to the Fluval Spec. They're just too close not to be

The chi's current shouldn't be too strong because it's a little waterfall thingy but I'll see. I checked customer reviews and they said it was good for a betta. It's almost a cube. 10.5 x10.5x12
