Normal German Shepherds yup very easy to train, had one before this one. But Kes is a rescue and is completely barmy, she has been thrown out of 4 training schools and had 2 dog behaviourist quit on me!

my amy was kicked out of her training school for walking away when all the other dogs where doing tricks Such a cute dog.

oh did i mention im a great dog handler. Not one perosn has given up on me. ( Joke xD )
Hmm What you should try is offering him a treat and try saying sit etc.
with amy i do hand movements as-in do a line on the floors ( with my fingures ) then she'll lie down roll over she'll do automaticly when i command her etc.
