Anyone Know What This Chiclid Is

i bought this fish two weeks ago and i have no clue what it is,

the local pet store is selling them for $2 becouse they dont know what they are

That is a juvi salvini
what tank size and what tank mates as these are aggressive guy's

Agressive is a comparative description. While it may be considered aggressive compared to tetras, its actually pretty mild as far as cichlids go.

Well they in my oppinion are agressive, i had to seperate my 5inch one, as he kept attacking my three 12+inch tinfoils and my large spotted dollar and three oscar's and a green terror, he would terrorize my tank and my tanks not that small 150us gallon's......
He is now in waiting to go to another member on this site......As said these guy's are ok but you will need a big tank and similar size and aggressive cichlid's to stand up to it as in central american's

i changed my sig to show my fish, they are in a 180 gal tank. all my fish are 1.5 - 2 inches right now except my oscar and my jack which are around 8 inches and my severums are around 5 inch. i know it sound crazzy but my large fish do not attack my small fish at all. so far the salvini is extremely calm and seems to be interested in anything that moves out side the aquarium.

the jack dempsey will eventually take controll of the tank. while the stock may work for now, its really hit or miss weather or not it will work in the long run. i have a tank far worse then that, but its running fine after moving some fish around a bit.

yeah so the savinis must go as there starting to get a little bigger there getting alot more aggressive, i noticed this morning that my perfectly healthy firemouth was fighting with the salvini, the fire mouth WAS three times bigger than the salvini yet the salvini killed him by the time i got home from work. are they a jewel chiclid?
