Anyone Know Of A Good Uk Seller?

Im planning to set up my 25 litre, nicely plant it and keep a nice male betta. I've been on eBay and they do some really beautiful halfmoon males and I've fallen in Love with a yellow one! Can't ever seem to see any anywhere nearly as lovely in the shops and not much found online! I would be willing perhaps one day import one but shipping costs are so expensive! I doubt I'd probably get anything that nicely bred in the uk compared to the ones they seem to breed in Thailand but if any one knows of a decent uk seller? many thanks!

Have no idea what the bettas are like but I've had mine a while now and had no problems with them but they do charge a courier fee of around £12

You could try asking one of your LFSs to include what you want in their next order.
 
I asked Pets at Home if they would order something for me (ended up not doing it in the end). However, I don't know just how specific they can be about getting a yellow halfmoon. It might be worth a try, though!

Thanks! I'm happy to spend £50 Max I guess! Besides it would be a present from my parter for Christmas by the time my tanks set up. Just unsure of ordering over seas more of a gamble with stress on the fish and communication from the seller. Many thanks again

And them on facebook are home breeders all fish and no bubbles is a good group.

Once I get home from work I'll PM you some links to fb groups where quite a lot of selling occurs and also to one where they deal with a specific trans-shipper.... so you would find a fish on Aquabid then they would deal with everying from you winning the auction to the fish arriving at your door...
 
Yellows seem pretty rare tho...

Yep and Kash (guy who runs it) knows what he's on about, I've never ordered fish from him because I can't justify spending that much money on one fish even without the postage
