Anyone In Teesside, Northeast?

hi, im from stockton-on-tees and recently been finding it difficult to find a good lfs. recently i saw an add in a local paper for the pet pantry in thornaby (thornaby road) stating they were starting to sell marines. i didnt even know they sold fish as i used to buy my dogs tripe from them about 2 years ago and they had no fish then. anyway i thought id check them out and was very impressed. their tropical tanks where the cleanest ive seen in this area and all the fish were very active and healthy. although there selection wasnt massive they still stocked all the community fish usuals at a decent price, after talking to the owner he told me there were going to be expanding there stock now that the tanks were all established. i bought 2 german blue rams for £3.50 each and am very happy with their condition and health (although the male wont leave the poor female alone lol). as for the marine section i wouldnt really like to say as im not experienced in that area. but for a good community fish keeper in this area i would highly recommend the pet pantry in thornaby.

they have no marines but do have
a good selection of fresh water tropicals
and a excellent selection of koi and gold fish
as well as tanks and pond equipment and dry goods

I've seen that shop but didn't realise it sold fish. I'll have to call in.
I'd also recommend Paddock Farm in Dalton Gates near the Croft circiut.

maiden head at stokesley is a bit I was a bit dissapointed lol.

Pet Mania in billingham have a really nice selection of marines, but im not overly impressed with the tropical side lol, plus they will sell fish to ANYONE! - a woman goes in and picks up a tiny plastic bowl and they sell her a goldfish to go in that bowl at the same time typical pet stores but.. meh..

Ive never been to Teesside Koi (its a bit out of the way if you dont have a car and are lazy like moi) but not heard anything bad about it either.
