I bought this heater at a local pet store and has been great for just the 3 hours I've had in. Water has gone from 66 to 74 in that time. Looks good, too. Here is the exact heater I got. Except mine is 200 watt. Later, QD.
I saw a review of these in a magazine a few months ago.
Looked like they're OK, the apparant advantage is if you have larger active fish it MIGHT make it "safer" than glass. Dunno if this is marketing or fact though!
Yea. I see what you're saying. I have had it for 4 days now, and it seems to be doing real well. The main thing about this is it's supposed to be unbreakable. That's it's catch. Later, QD.
