Anyone Got Info On Moon Rock?

Hi, Im currently shopping around to find some tank decoration for my first tank. I was looking in a petshop today and come across a box with big pieces of "Moon Rock" in it. My question is, is this rock safe for my betta fish tank? And would plants grow on this? Thanks

i have never heard of moon rock especially for the aquarium trade, it may be texas holey rock or lava rock

just found a site advertising moon rock

Thanks for the reply. Went back yesterday to have another look, the label said "aquarium moon rock" so ive bought some. Dont think its glow in the dark but could get a suprise. It was quiet expensive at £8.90 for a medium size rock and got a couple of scrape pieces for my plants for a few quid extra. Hopefully it looks the part ;-)
