Often these fish are sold as singles, due to their likely ~14cm adult size and their reported aggression towards one another as they get older.
I would love to hear from anyone who has experience on keeping these guys, esepcially if you have more than one (if so, did you get them as youngsters or as a known compatable juvenile/adult group?)...
These guys are on my wishlist and I expect that gettting a single speciman is by far the safest way forward, however I'm curious as to the likely consequences in maybe trying to identify a young male and female (by the spines around the male's gill plate)...
