Anyone From Uk Used Aquabid

Seems to be the same person in Germany used by a lot of the Thai sellers. Anyone have experience of how long this takes, how much it costs and what sort of condition the fish arrive in?

If you buy out side of the uk and ship them in your breaking the law.

If customs open the box all fish with not documation will be destroyed.
You can apply for a licence to import from DEFRA

This only allows you to import of personal fish Not to resell.

I thought tht was the idea of the transhipper? That they dealt with all that and made the import legal?

But your still getting them from Germany.

You'd have to go through a transhipper from Thailand to Germany then from Germany to the UK then from whoever it was in the UK to you. You're talking £100+ in just shipping fees. It's not worth it, you're better off staying in contact with those who are bringing them in on a regular basis, or even custom ordering from them.

Right. I had thought that because the german person was listed as there to deal with the whole of the EU, that was it covered.

postage then is £8-10 for several betta's

and the with the saving's on postage you can bid on the best fish!

I agree. I keep looking for one on eBay, but none of them have impressed me.

I went on eBay .com just to see what the USA members can get on eBay, and there are so many stunners!

They are gorgeous, but you can get stunners even for $20.
