Anyone Fancy Identifying A Couple Of Fish For Me?

There are a few fish i would like to know the name of, i know basics such as angelfish etc. but what particular ones are they?

The first one is a Koi Angelfish, the other one is showing the wild type markings. Whether it is an Altum or not i have no idea, someone else will have to say for sure.

The second one is a long finnned, wild colour angel; the stripes on altum angels are slightly different (a repeating pattern of dark wide and narrow pale); lovely fish though.

Yes, they're both P.scalare.

Never had this term explained to me, just googled it and no clear reply came back

Scalare are usually the ones available from shops i think, Altum's get quite a bit taller. Still no clearer.

Yeah, scalare are the most common, atlum's are much taller and slimmer, they have much longer fins too, reaching somewhere in the region of 12-18 inches in height, then there's leopaldi, but they're quite rare.

Glad it is scalare then, 18 inches tall is quite big for me to handle (ooer)
