Ummm, I'm sorry, but why are we being mean to him because he paid extra to get better fish? If this pair is coming from Nancy Pace that means they are from overseas, and I'd guarantee they are going to be much higher quality than the prettiest fish in the lfs. Why aren't we congratulating this person who wants to breed for finding good stock to do so?

If you still want to freak out over someone spending too much on a fish...I just won two plakats on aquabid and they will cost me $150.

I think people on here over react waaay too easily, no body jumped down his throat, we are congratulating him, his fish is very nice. I was just saying I got the exact looking fish for 3.99 that comes from a local lady who breeds quality fish. and like ive said in other posts I wish I could buy many of these fish and ship them cheap to other people so they wouldnt have to pay the expenses for overseas. and btw i would pay 100 bucks for the plakat you have in your avatar

hey have arrived. i am acclimating the male to his new buddy shela and im going to divide them before i put them in. as for the female, she looks more opaque then red, but thats what stress can do to a girl. im going to petsmart right now to buy a small tank with filter. good health they are in. im so happy

days?!! i would say minutes lol. my male is so agressive, flares at everything he sees including me. first he was scared of my female as she flared at him. now the tables have turned and she is white and he is red!

hey coconutman, sorry if it sounded like i jumped on you, i was just surprised. The betta's we got were always bred specifically for shows that were out here, and for breeding.
But i tell you, those fish look amazing.
