Any tips for breeding gold gouramis?

I am currently trying to get my male and female gourami to breed but there’s no signs of a bubble nest being built. I feed bloodworms and fish flakes a couple times a day and I’ve increased the temperature to 28 degrees Celsius. I’ve also got some rotala cuttings floating on the surface. Does anyone have any tips?

You can also try floating plants like frogbit and salvinia instead of rotala cuttings. Gouramis breed like bettas, so I think this video will help you:

Feed the fish 3-5 times a day with a variety of food.
Have lots of surface plants.
Reduce surface turbulence.
Do a 75% water change every couple of days.
Temp at 28C is fine.

Thanks for the info, I have now seen the male blowing bubbles but they burst immediately am I doing something wrong?

just provide them with good conditions and when they are ready to breed, they will.
