Any Suggestions For My Silly Betta?

my betta today has started sitting a little too close to my filter and keeps getting his fins sucked onto it, they don't go in it as the holes are too small......will he learn not to do this after a while...or are there any suggestions for something I can cover the intake area with?
He can get off it as i've seen him get stuck, and off it again a few times now.....its weird he's been in there a day now, and now he starts deciding to sit too close to it....crazy fish!

You could always use a bit of filter sponge and put that over the intake area?

i think for now he's learnt, but if i see it happen again i will sort something like that out....or maybe some plastic mesh around the area

u could get a sheet of canvass and stick it to the filter the wholes are to small for the fins to get through

it#s not the holes thats the problem....he didn't get sucked in....just stuck onto the casing....i've not seen him get so close since though.....so fingers crossed thats the end of it

When i 1st got my betta he kept getting sucked onto the filter (really weak filter ,_,)
now he has no problems with a much stronger filter(3x gph of older one).
He learnt his lesson and has become a stronger swimmier ; D
