Imo the silverdollar shouldnt be in there, and needs a school. Seeing my dads school of silver dollars and how active and big they get id say no smaller then a 80gallon Imo. :good:

cheers ace, i`ll sort that then :)
can anyone show me pics please, i just googled hoopy catfish and got a cat in a freezer

hmm could be, i have bought the tank blind, on a few pics he sent me,its a 3 hour drive so it was a bit far to go and have a look first, its a yougish boy and he has had the tank a while and has given me tonnes of info on transporting the fish, so hes defo not the sort to sell me a fish that would grow 7ft+++ fish in that tank, well i ll have a better idea when they arrive ( friend is collecting it for me), so i wont start oooooh and arrring till i know what i can defo keep in the tank, its only 12inches wide so i may be restricted there

What are your plans for the tank mate?

BIG SHOAL OF EXODONs? :P

scarcastic little get!!! everyone else has 4 cheeks you got 5!

i think i may, just may go with the cardinal tetra and black gravel idea on a grand scale, but then again, i may leave it with the fish that i can keep out of those that are coming with it, ill be asking tonnes of Q`s when they arrive and taking pics, and then i can go from there, but i dont mind either way really,as i can do the tetra thing in the smaller tank

Might I suggest Taihitan Moonsand Black, I just got some and its really really nice. Exodons are tetra just vicious ones, they are characins atleast and Imo very cool :D....

P.S Last time I checked I had four cheeks, I hope I havent grown another.....That is a deforminty I could do without 8-)

thank goodness for that- when i googled the word, i got a predator (sp) i thought you were reffering to me putting 2 oscars ina 4ft tank. sorry ace,

isnt that the sand that costs a huge amount,?. it would have to be a less expensive alternative as the kids are bleeding me dry ( summer hols here)
