what size tank are you thinking of keeping the rays in

what type of thing do you want to know?

they need perfect water
a steady ph
plenty of room
a sand or smooth gravel substraite

they can be a lot more work that the usual types of fish but once there settled in and feeding properly there worth it.

PLEASE do not start with Retics or Hysitrix as your first rays!
They are extremly hard to get to eat.
Start with Motoro. They are a hardier sting ray as your first one.
I know retics can be cheaper, but If you are going to get started into this, get something that is worth the money.
But to answer your question they are the same as any other ray, just somethimes a little picker to get to eat. Make sure you see them eat at the store before you bring them home. Earth worms works the best for mine to get them eating. Now they eat shrimp and smelt too. They still don't eat as well as my motoro though.
