well n e ideas or pics.. or howto guides/

maybe a cup in the corner on its side?

maybe a widemouth 40 bottle?

nah i dont want it to be the ghetto son

they all do look kinda gay i guess, all fake looking and weird colors (what cave has pink, purple, and green on it????)

well if ure against "gay" things - then DEFINATELY get a STRAIGHT LOOKING tank cos you dont wanna give off the wrong signals that's for sure

One I made from a coconut shell, my kribs love it. :good:

so how should i make 1?

I think a coconut cave will be to small for your shark eventually. You could get hold of an old clay pipe, that would do well for a hiding place, or you could lean together bits of bog wood to make a cave for him.

:good:

One piece of red lava rock leaning on another makes a nice cave. I don't like the light colored striped ones with all the stupid holes in them though.

PVC pipe covered in rocks or substrate would work great. I have a large piece of bogwood mine stays in. And a pagoda (Dhinese building) I would get rid of but my shark and girlfriend both like it in there too. It's not a natural looking thing though.

I used aquarium sealant to make one out of slate. Got the slate for free, as off-cuts from a local fireplace manufacturer.

I made mine from slate and sealant, theres a massive slate quarry just up the road!
BTW I found that damp slate can be cut with a tile saw or even a Junior hack saw(if you have plenty of spare blades!)

pvc pipe covered in aquarium silicone and then covered in sand and gravel can look pretty good once you kinda bury it a bit in your substrate. you can do the same thing with tupperwear too. Cut up a piece of tupperwear to suit your shark and then silicone srap all over it and then bury it just abit.
