hi Biff
good to see another rudeboy on the forums.
I have seen Madness countless times in concert, including at Madstock and at the Hammersmith Apollo back in the mid 80's.
I have also had the pleasure of sitting in the bands dressing room in the day as my best friend at the time was dating Suggs' cousin :p

I've also seen the Bodysnatchers and the Specials (or was it specials AKA?) in concert.
I still listen to the great sound of Ska on cds but wish I had never got rid of my vinyl collection :/

shame you are so far up north, there is a local Ska group (Skatronics) playing a concert on the 1st locally to me
and they have some special guests (no names yet) but are believed to be from the beat and the bodysnatchers.
it should be a great evening :)
checkout their website, you never know they may do a gig up your way

Not a huge fan of Ska normally, but there is this band here in the states called the Skatalites that are pretty good. I guess I also like this band called the Mad Caddies which might be considered Ska, and also I'm a huge fan of Bedoin Soundclash which is definitely a Ska/reggae band! You should really check the Bedoin Soundclash out! Oh and Tim Armstrong, the singer for arguably my favorite Punk band out there just released a Ska album that's REALLY GOOD! check that one out too if you get a chance.

Other than that, I'm normally a Street Punk fan, (US Bombs, Those Unknown, Sixer, etc).
