Another Stocking Question Lol

sorry if any of you are sick of see-ing these topics, i have a fluval roma 200 and have an internal filter and external filter, i currenly have the following fish

1 small angel
1 krib
3 gold neon tetras
4 neon tetras
1 red honey gourami
1 yellow gourami

i no iv got an angel with neons but mydad bought them for me and put them in the tank as a present

iv got a bronze cory, a julii cory and a plec (which i dont no what type it is as dad bought that aswel,its about 3-4inch and is fully brown) in my old tank ready to put in to the the other tank

just wondered after i add them to the new tank what are other ideas for fish, i was thinkin odessa barbs or swordtails

Swords will work well, odessa barbs however may prove too boisterous for the neons, angel and honey gourami

odessa barbs are lovely fish, i have em with my gouramis and angels and are doing well!

i would up the julii and bronze corys up to at least 3 each

what about pentazona barbs?

swordtails will go nicely aswell as any other livebearer!

another species of tetras? rummy nose, flame, pengiun?

giant danios? although they are quite boisterous

its a newly cycled tank about 2 month so didnt wana fill it out quick so only puttin 1-2 fish in everyweek, or will it better when iv added the other corys to just go and buy 3 more corys one week and 3 of the other another week ?

aye you could add a small shoal every week to 2 weeks apart

for example adding the 6 corys one week

then next adding some odessas 7 days after

and just carry on in that fashion

do you have a test kit? you should really test before you add any new fish so that you can see if its safe and if your filter is handling it, but since you have 2 filters you shouldnt be seeing much of a problem

how long has the tank been running and how did you cycle it?

yea i have the API test kit, and nobody shoot me but i did it with neons and its been runnin about 3month but i had a huge ammonia spike but thats been gone about a month now with no trace of it since i put my second filter in, i think it happened because i tried to clean the internal filter and some debris and waste fell bk in to the tank
