Ok so I know even though yall said I should wait I ended up buying 3 mollies & 1 cory cat last night (first reasoning behind my plan was my 10 gallon tank needed 2 lights and one of the lights on my big tank went out and I'm not going to drive 45 minutes just to buy bulbs with no fish.)
I also figured since now I have a good source of well water that I'm going to change out another 15 gallons pretty soon anyway so why not add just a few fish before I do the change (planning on doing it Sunday if something spikes if not waiting for the next Sunday)
But for my question all my fish seem fine I added them at 6 pm last night and at noon today during my lunch I checked them out (feed them some flake food this morning before work and gave a piece of brine shrimp cube as a treat for every) but back to the question. All the fish look fine no fin nipping or any of that going on yet I noticed both cory cats were together and eating some but my male mollie is at the top of the tank popping all the bubbles is this something to really worry about or no? I watched the fish for about 2 hours last night (with tank light off but the living room lights on and he was hanging out with the females and all seemed to be ok). Also one female has a little yellow dot could this be part of her coloring before I got her or is it something from the tank?
So my two questions are the yellow dot on one female and my male popping all the bubbles need to be worried or no?
