Another New Year Newbie

A big hello and happy new year to everyone on the forum. Im Dave from Cheshire, im 26 and work locally. Iv kept a 1000 gallon pond for 15 years but for the last 5 years iv kept tropicals and got addicted to them, in the last year i have gone Cory Crazy and every one of my tanks is now got corys in (and some other fish).
i look forward to chatting to like minded fish addicts and dont worry i wont just chat about catfish

hello there, you will enjoy keeping fish when its all set up but the biggest tip is to not rush into anything. after setting your tank up run it with no fish for at least a week ideally around 10 days and in that time use a maturing product like cycle or filterstart. Start with hardy fish like Black Widow Tetras, Danio's, Tigerbarbs, bronze catfish (cory aneaus). Add just a few at a time, around 4-6 and leave around a week before adding more.
