Hello all:
First of all, let me say that this forumn offers great information and has been a good resource for me getting started with a few small tanks.
I was wondering we people speak of cycling tanks, it is really the filters that get the cycling done, not the tanks right? So I'm beginning with two 10 gallon tanks and two 5 gallon tanks. The goal is to get the nitrate high enough to accomodate new fish and that bacteria is in the filters so why not just do all the filters in the same tank then once the cycling is over, I can move the filters to the new tanks.
BTW - I'm using two small H-I sponge filters and two small box filters in bare bottom tanks. Each tank will various amounts of Naja grass.
Any thoughts?
