Another Compatibiity Question!

We need to downsize the number of tanks we have...would this stocking work in a 45 gallon tank?

Neon Tetras (I'm not sure how many; say 10-15), cories (6), ADF (2), red cherry shrimp (lots), galaxy rasbora (6) and female bettas (5).

I'm sure it'll all work, however I'm not sure about the femele bettas; I can add them and try them and if they don't work move them back to their own tank?

Hi - the only thing that I would be concerned about is the ADFs. With shrimp in the tank there might be too much competition for food. ADFs struggle to find food in a community fish tank even without shrimp because the fish are too quick at gobbling up the food. Of course, you can take steps to feed them directly with, for example, a turkey baster (you might well be doing this already, in which case worry over).

Also, what would be the water level height in the 45 gallon? If it's over 15" then the ADFs will struggle swimming up for air.

I'm not sure if female bettas and shrimp are ok together. I know that my male betta would attack and kill live shrimp when I put them in his tank. Not tried it with females...

The frogs get fed via a turkey baster at the moment now so that'll be ok. We'll just add more of their food as there will be more fish to steal their food. The frogs; shrimp and neons are in a tank together now as well.

I've had male bettas in with shrimp and they've always been ok, but I've not had these girls in with shrimp. There are millions of hiding places in the tank so that shouldn't be an issue. The bunch of girls I have at the moment are quite calm and relaxed and they are in with baby snails and they've been ok, when I had the previous bunch they couldn't even be in with baby snails (ok I know snails and shrimp aren't the same thing)!
