:D :D :D :D :D Didn't think they were old enough but that proves me wrong ! Have noticed the group fighting a fair bit over the last week.Checked tank when i came home from work and there's hundred's of egg's on the filter intake pipe ! I still have no idea which ones is male and which is female . Who normally guards the egg's?

Took a wee pippette and managed to sook 30-40 and moved them over to smaller tank in a wee breeding net (Luckily i just moved the cory's from here 2 days ago) ! Will they continue to guard remaining egg's? If any survive a community tank will the parents guard them at the free swimming stage? So question time:D

1.How long til the egg's hatch ?
2.What do i feed ? Will liquifry do the job ? BBS? Grated Bloodworm?
3. What sort of fry will i get ? One Is a Black Lace i think and the Other Is a Marble
4. Will they lay more to replace the ones i took away ?

Pic's ...Can you sex them ? lol
Seems to guard the egg's

hehe good news kizz :good:
um probally wont survive in a community, also first batch they will prob end up eating them aswell, but you could be lucky, usually 48hrs to eggs with tails and about 8-10days til free swimming,on ebay you can buy deshelled brineshrimp eggs around 2pounds will last ages i still have some, they love the stuff, do you have any pics of the breeding tubes or can you get some posted?

Tried earlier with phone but it was pants will try later with digi once batteries have charged and it get's dark . I seen them and the one that is at the bottom seemed to be rather small but more pointy will try and get pic's . Can't wait til they hatch ! Love watching them grow and change

Now that these 2 have paired off should i expect more aggression in the tank and will the remaining one's start to pair up ?

:D :D

Edit: What do i do with the brineshrimp egg's? :S lol

males tube are long thin and pointy
females are fat short and stubby...

deshelled brineshrimp eggs all you do is feed like dried food, easy peesy, um the others could pair of or not at all, you neer know, how densely planted is the tank, other wise i dought many would survive if any....i would be inclined if you want to breed them is to get a tank for the pair only, :good:

Never expected them to breed ! i never expect any of them to do it but they just spring it on me! lol Tank's fairly planted Load's of caves bogwood and there's under the filter too ...Where everything else seems to hide! will get a FTS later on tonight. I took about 30 or so and moved them to a diffrent tank in the kitchen only got some harlequin's baby albino cory's and the pair of albino cory's . Reacon they'd be safe in the breeding net until i could release them in that tank to grow ...Keep any if i like them and sell the rest if enough survive :D lol
