I have 2 practically full sized angels in my 33g but one of them bullys the other really badly, its had scales missing before now...is there a way to combat this? add a 3rd so that he wont just bully the one?

I dont know :S

worth a shot, the other option is taking out the agressor. moving the decor around then adding him again a day or two later. thhis will allow the less aggressive one to determine some territories.

Hi, im no expert but id say most probarbly you have to males and they are fighting for space etc.

Edit: a few seconds too late

probably lol :\

the funny thing was the other one [black] was in the tank first and bullied this one, now its changed :S

next time we get some bigger angels in ill get one or 2, we only have tiny ones in, other than that there was a beautiful white one in my other lfs....hmmm

shame i have no money :\

I think one more would help. Try not to get a female if you think you have males. You don't want a pair because you will be right back where you started.

Good luck. I think 3 is a good number for cichlds. Depending on what kind.

dont add another angel as 33 galons is not a lot of space for 3 full grown angels. add a group of 5 or 6 rasboras or something like that. they will distract the dominant angel and will divert some of the aggresion

also, the rasboras are fast enough to get away from the angels so they'll be okay! :good:
