angels and danios

i was wondering if i can put my angel with my danios when i upgrade the tank my danios are in. or are danios to fast and nippy for angels

I have a large black angel in with some zebra danios. They don't bother each other. The black angel is in recovery from being beat on by a pair of blacks. The fins were half gone, they healed real nice. Still dealing with a bit of popeye, poor fish took a real pounding. The fins wouldn't have healed as well if the danios were nippy.

Danios are said to be very nippy fish and it's said that they should not be kept with any fish that have long flowing fins or feelers.

That said, I've never had any problems with my danios nipping any other fish, and I believe that as long as the school of danios is big enough (8+) for them to stay busy chasing themselfs, they'll leave all other fish alone.

Just to be on the save side though, make sure you've got a place to re-house the angel(s ) to.
