Angelfish Weak Swim Bladder

my angelfish for the most part apears to be healthy, but it has trouble staying afloat for long periods of time. is there a way to strengthen a fishes swim bladder or is it basically doomed to live on the bottom until it starves

If it's swimbladder's gone, I don't know if there's anything I can do to help you. If it's able to eat you could try feeding it peas, I hear they help with the swim bladder.


You'd be best off posting this in Tropical Fish Emergencies though, this sounds critical enough to me.
