One of my relatives has a community tank, and one angelfish is getting badly bullied. He's currently holed up in a log, and she's asked if he can stay in our 45 gallon tall livebearer tank. The tank has a few assorted shrimp (which can be removed), one large oto (the last remaining from a shoal, it could be moved to live with a betta, but it has more cover in the 45 gallon), 2 swordtails and two mollies. It's planted, but I just trimmed everything, so there isn't so much cover in the higher parts of the tank. He'd be staying with us until we get the 90 gallon set up, which should be in a little over a month if everything goes well.
The relative plans to give him to us tonight, so I don't have much time to set up an emergency tank.
How do you think this will work? What should be moved out? I'm kind of in a tight spot at the moment, since he's basically doomed in her community tank.
