Okay, I want to get Angelfish but I might not. They are beautiful fish and I am stumped!!!! I have a ten gallon tank and I have some glofish and guppies (I'm not going to put the angelfish with the glofish and guppies) and when they die :( I want to get an angel. Will one fit? Only an angel, or can I have something else. Some people say no, some people say yes. Please everyone who knows about angels tell me what you think! Thanks, Glofishgirl

Whilst they're small, then yes. But be prepared for upgrading in the near future. If that's not an option, then just stick to your smaller species. There's still a lot of choice for a 10g tank.

Aw, I guess no angelfish for me then :( I sad girl. Just for my curiosity.... How big do the smallest angels get?

Oh, I'm not getting a saltwater angelfish? Aren't they smaller?! I really want them. The saltwater are definately bigger, though.

As stated, 10gal is far too small for angel fish (tropical)... The minimum size apparently is 25gal., (around 95 litres)

Yes,

The minimum is around 25 gal but more inportantly a minimum height of 18" so a 25 gal tank that tall would likely to be a hex tank.

Freshwater angels usually reach around 7-9" tall and across
