Angelfish And Rams

Hi,

I have a 55 gallon tank.

Currently home to,

2 angelfish, dwarf gourami, 4 rummy nose tetra, 3 betta, 2 platy, bala shark, albino shark

This is how the tank was stocked when bought,

Bala grows too big for tank so he has to go, i plan to up the number of tetra, bettas are actually really friendly.

I have done some reading and would like to get some rams, my question is what fish would have to go? The only fish i am 100% on keeping are the angels, would like to keep the rest but really want some bolivian rams. How many are recomended? Also are there any other rams that will go with angelfish.

All rams go with angels, but require different temps etc

Are the bettas male?

Albino shark should go and I would give in the platys, but just because of personal preference

If i was you I would go for a south american style tank with angels, rams, tetras and cories

Over time that is what i was planning on to be honest. Just hate giving fish up, ive just bought the tank and feel horrible breaking them all up.

There is 1 male and 2 females bettas, they get along fine, no problems at all. I thought about putting these into a smaller tank because there all really pretty but i dont know if the size of the tank is the reason there all ok.

I hardly see the albino shark, he is a funny little thing. Thanks for your quick response, youve just pushed me into finally making my mind up which will make the wife happy.

Its just kinda randomly stocked at the moment, but im sure you'll stock it nicely from now on with your own choice of fish
