Angel looks sick

Hey everyone,

One of the angels in my 40 gallon looks kinda sick. It looks as though it may be bleeding. It is red around it's gills. Does anyone know what this might be or was he attacked by my blood parrot and what can I do to help him?

its hard to say... is there an open wound its bleeding from? or are its gills just red?

hows your water? and how are the other fish in the tank? how bigs the tank and whats in it..

i know my angels didnt last long with my parrots

There are some Angels that have red "cheeks" ..is your Angel acting sick? or acting not normal? Is he eating?

Blushers, & to some extent koi, will show red through their translucent gill plate. Parrots & angels are not a good idea, I can see the parrot getting a taste for angel fins. If you can rehome the angel in a quar tank, & do some daily water changes with melafix, you should be ok.
