Yea, i forgot to add (to save any confusion) it is a Juwel aquarium.
EDIT:Well my filter seems to be fine, weekly changes of the white cotton fibre ontop, it never lacks in power and creates a good current to keep the fish healthy, but not too powerful that they get sucked in.

I have the rekord 120 but still added another filter the ehiem aquaball filter.

Well aslong as its doing its job well, i'll stick with it.

i rinse one sponge amonth in tank water and so far no problems so i wont fix it if it aint broke for now
