I think this is a spiney eel. You dont see him much hes usually hiding somewhere or trying to escape.

Yay well done!
We've heen trying to get a photo of Achillies, our Fire Eel since we got him. We know he's still in his tank because the feeder shrimp we put in there every week disapear, but we've not actually seen him for weeks!

My fire eel is almost always out its the spiney eel that hides.
