An Easier Way To Do Water Changes?

Thinking of making water changes easier to do, has anyone added T pieces to the inlet/outlet piping to enable the pump to bring the new water into the tank? Struggling to find anywhere that does the right size T Pieces and valves..

I've not seen it done, but what I have seen is a 'waste water removal pipe' fitted to an aquarium (in corner next to intake - simply a pipe that is clamped in place, with a trailing tapped end ouside the aquarium, this can be turned on to fill buckets, and turned off to stop.

Also for water return, i've seen tapped buckets that sit on a frame above the tank.

The water removal isn't the issue, already have a length of tubing that I use to syphon the water out whilst hoovering the bottom, just wanted to make the pump work for me. Gonna give it a go and report back

Just get a length of hose and a tap adapter for your sink. Then turn the water on and the pressure will fill your tank back up - no pump necessary.

Just get a length of hose and a tap adapter for your sink. Then turn the water on and the pressure will fill your tank back up - no pump necessary.

But it won't be dechlorinated.... or do you add the dechlorinator directly to the tank ?
