Amwell Aquatics

LadyMinion - I should think you'll come home with alot more than just the Puffer. When I went they had some very nice L-Numbers in but they were quite highly priced in some cases and there was only one or two of each. I got an L204 and L190, but they also had some very nice L128 at a larger size. I know if I had more money on me there would be alot less nice fish left there! When you go you can check on the Black Arowana I gave to them in the tank on the top row next to the African Cichlids, see what they are selling it for. :)

kev - There are some many Plec species being discovered that scientists identifying, naming and describing them are getting heavily back dated. To deal with this they set up the L-Number system giving each species an L-Number to go back through and later describe.

And just to add to that, they are called L-numbers because the L stands for Loriicadae, the scientific name for the suckermouth catfish family. :D

Ryan, I'll look out for your arowana when I'm there. Doubt I'll be buying too much as payday isn't until next week so it's down to the trusty chequebook. :D
