ammonia

68 ltr is about 18 gallon. What fish do you have left besides the swordtail, platy and betta?

2 male guppies and a female(not pregnant) 2 albino catfish cory's. 1 Pimledello angelicus (cat fish) think thats it. 3 Platy's, 1 Betta and 1 Swordfish. Oh and 8 tetra neons.

I have the pimleodella angelicus not the syndontis. The catfish I have grows to only 3 inches. All my fish are smaller community fish so I wouldn't say its overcrowded. I think I may have rushed putting fish in which im sorely regretting. However Im going to do daily water changes and hopefully this will help. As my LFS does not seem to want to take the fish back I will have to do my best. I just hope I will be able to reduce my ammonia levels back to zero like they were at the beginning of the week.

:/ sorry but I can find no profile for a fish called "pimleodella angelicus" or variation thereof. The closest I could find is "Spotted (Angelicus) Pimelodus". Could you shed some more light on this - it might help.....

Yeah thats my fish, sorry i did not add on catfish at the end. My tank does seem to be still cycling. As my levels of ammonia and nitrite are starting to change. I'm going to do a partial water change. Unfortunately I lost my Betta Splenden as something nipped all his tail of. Im not sure what fish it could have been. I have read that all my fish get on okay with the betta's however I have had conflicting advise from my Local fish stores and the internet. Hopefully things will be okay now.

Sorry to hear about your betta. It may have been someone nipping, but problems with water quality can also lead to finrot.
