Lots of nice footage of eartheaters, black ghosts, catfish and whatnot in the wild. You may want to switch off the sound though: the voiceover is incredibly misleading and stupid. Apart from that, it's fun.

Will be watching that later, didn't know it was on iplayer.

I remember watching it when it was first broadcast, found it disappointing as it focused more on the divers than the fish, but it had bits that were good (the lagoon scene was good think they showed discus, festivum, angels, needlefish and tetras - it was the bit where the was a 'deadly snake').

Another good documentary on the amazon is 'Rivers of the Sun', from memory I think it shows more fish than amazon abyss did overall - its on youtube, got good footage of arowana and aripima I think.
