it's a lotus Elise for those who don't know and these are quiet rare in the US.

I've seen a bright yellow Lamborghini Contach in Toronto a few weeks ago, that was pretty cool too... And I saw a Lamborghini Diablo parked outside a mall here in Ottawa a couple of years ago... A buddy of mine has a Porsche Carrera, not the GT version though, but still... A Porsche!!!

im 15 and im doing work experience in the uk in a car garage and i was working on a porsche carrera 4
that was pretty cool.

and about 3 months ago i went to cardiff , i dont know if you know him but i saw robbie savage getting out of his lambourghini merchilago it was yellow i didnt manage to get a autograph im sorry to say.

o yes about the lotise elise they are everywhere over in the uk like one of the posts said but most of them havnt got racing strips on them like that one its obviously imported from another country.

and did you know that porsche make skoda engines.
and lambourghini make fiat engines.

(which I know some of you might not care about, but I love the smell of a muscle car's exhaust and the sound of the engine!

Common as horse muck over here in the UK
The Vauxhall VX220 is the better motor - do you have a GM version in the states.
That, being a newer body style, could be one of the legit ones to be released in the US. But, I don't think they're out here yet. Regardless.... legit Lotus sold version is equipped with a Toyota VVT-i engine.

Then there are the Elises sold by Sun Motorsports. Based on the paint job and "Team Skoa".... I'd wager that's what it is. In that case, it has a Honda VTEC engine out of the Integra Type-R in it.

As for a GM version.... no. In the US, we don't get any type of cool cars from GM or Ford.... all they sell to us are what I would call "rental car fodder" and big trucks/SUV's.

Ever been to a Aussie touring car race?
Now thats muscle and sound V8 Holdens and Fords

Theres a Guy Down the Road with a Hummer, in Coventry. God I hope No-one tries to scratch that.

a Countach? in Toronto??? how cool is that!
I am totally going to date myself but I remember when they were first introduced. Mike Wallace from 60 Minutes went to Italy, interviewed somebody from the company and they did a segment about it on the show. I think Wallace also got to drive one but I'm not sure, I just remember the huge smile on his face.
and here I thought that all we got in Canada were boring crappy American cars.
well, at least that's all I ever see here in Scarborough!

Now now, that's not true. Well, it is, kinda. You get crappy American branded cars that are actually made in Mexico or Canada ;)

Very cool indeed. We were driving from Oakville back to Toronto in my buddy's Acura when suddenly he started yelling some crazy mumbo-jumbo... We were all stunned, thought his car was having some problems or something. Then suddenly, we could heard it.

Looked to the left, and there she was...Yellow body and slightly tinted glass. We were going back to my buddy's place and we managed to follow it for 3 or 4 minutes til' we hit Bathurst St., where we had to take a right and the Countach turned left.

Needless to say, that made my day, (even weekend) there at Toronto.

And littlefishie, you know where the Countach is or the Carerra? The Carerra should be in Burlington, my buddy goes to U of T's Scarborough campus.

But if you meant the Countach, then could you please, please, please take a pic for all of us?
