Amazing Bettas

Hello all, Im in love with these bettas on aqua bid. I cant getget any right now but im wondering if its easy to come across the fancier bettas for such a low price(not encluding transport). I also wanna know while im gushing what everyones favorite type of betta is and if they have any pics of theirs or one they like...

Makes me hate that in yorkshire rare tailed bettas are RIDICULOUSELY hard to come by. Makes me angry i have NEVER seen anything other than a VT in any shop.

I know!

In birmingham i have never seen a CT or a HM.

Only Out of these areas in sea life center's i ask if thy have betta's

they do have some nice halfmoons

I'm lucky, i have a small LFS that sells very nice CTs and HMs. In fact, i got a double tail HM from them recently (a tail type i'd never even heard of before) and his color is gorgeous!

Aquabid has some bettas that are just ridiculous, but most of them are in Thailand or somewhere, as if domestic shipping isn't costly enough!

Im on the hunt for a unusal color or tail type out side of the usual red, blue or purply mixed veils and the pale almost pine-apple sickly little crowns that we always get at petsmart im gonna look for something diffrent

where are you based? How much are they're halfmoons if its london. I'll pop down anyway some time in the summer to collect one

Can you not just ask your lfs to order you the fish you want? the one's I go to can pretty much order anything I think.

Im located in Bc, canada. ahaha..Yahh i might try but some of the staff at these stores are flightly like they say theyll do something but they dont so ill keep a look out or ill go to my fish tank he might order for me but id have to get off my but to go see him

Fish store 1 - Well. I Dont want to Trust them on that as they're veiltails are practently Starved.
Fish Store 2 - Huge Huge place. I Doubt they'll order 1 fish for one person

i migh but i kinda wanna look at his stock anyway, it a good excuse to get down there... And he usually has very nice fish the lovest parrot fish and non of them died just natuar pinks and oranges and reds.. too cute

yep.. pink / red are apparantly inked?

but i also read up some-where else

"Pink" May actully be from breeding blood parrots with some red cichlid? forgot witch one though.

I have seen the dyed red and pink their bright and un natural looking these are a fleshy pink they do not appired to be dyed because they have such light coloring and everyone one seems to pass them up and i herd the dyed ones fade over time but one of these fish has been there for a while and hes still the same...no one buys him because he must go with his other cichilid buddy(cant remeber what he is atm) because its highly agressive with everyone but this little parrot whos so fond of him also. I dont know the genders by they act like their in love there soo cute together

yea.. its a new hybrid of BP.

I Think its a blood parrot crossed with a Firemouth? im not 100% sure..
