Went to buy my Indian almond leaves for my new Betta tank today and took DH as he was curious as what my whittering about dried foreign leaves for a fish was about.... He was chatting to the guy behind the counter who said they had a 3500L tank for sale second hand as the guy who'd originally bought it a year ago couldn't work out how to stock it.... I totally want it! It's amazing, I'd live in it!!!

It's the size of a room divider, totally colossal! Would make an amazing coral reef! Shame I don't have the £300 he wanted for it cause its a total bargain! :( :(

Anyone wanna go halfies?

I see quite a fair bit of 3500L tanks on another forums.

The gear needed to run those are way above the cost of 5 grand. So although the tank maybe cheap the gear is not and also nor is the power bill :p

Oh it'd need industrial installation, it was enormous, I'd need to substitute a wall... It was a totally dream tank! My husband saw it and immediately asked if it was big enough to keep a shark lol :) I think I've definitely turned him onto the idea of getting a bigger tank though, maybe not quite that big but a good couple of hundred litres hee hee I knew I'd get my own way eventually......

Oh my gosh...imagine the size of water changes you'd have to do on that size tank.  LOL, that's the first thing that springs to my mind.  And as techen says, the power bill would be enormous!!
