am i overstocked????

my tank size is

5ft x 2ft x 2ft aprox 400 ltr

i have 1 fluval 404 and 1 standard juwel box filter

the inhabitants of the tank are as follows

1 9" male jaguar
1 8" oscar (sex unknown i think female not sure though)
1 7" clown catfish (syno)
1 6" featherfin catfish(syno)
1 7" p delzeri
1 8" common pl*c
1 24" ceacillian worm (lives in the box filter)

i am going to buy a bigger tank this year ill be kepping the 400 for my discus that are in a 240

i was thinking along the lines of a 800 or 900 ltr tank

8ft x 2ft x 2ft or maybee 6x 3 x 2

any ideas would be greatfully appreceated(sp)

I don't think you're overstocked at all, though I'm not familiar with a p delzeri.

Just keep an eye on your cichlid friends. Should it decide to do it, that Jaguar can rip the snot out of your Oscar. Obviously they're ok now, and hopefully they'll continue to get along, but if it happens it could be messy.

thanks for the reply fredi am keeping a close eye on the jag i had a trimac in with them but he was removed to a tank of is own cichlidsare fine if there is enough room and there is clear boundrys imo experience of them once again thanx
