Hi
I have established tank (running about 12 months) and am wondering whether ok to add large piece of bogwood. I have had piece soaking in bucket water for 24 hrs and water is clear. Tank pH always around 7.8 and read bogwood can play around with this initially - is this good idea to add?
Also introduced x6 new ember tetras yesterday and worried this might stress them as will need to re arrange plants and rocks - would I be better to give them more time to settle or would they be ok?
Thanks

Bog wood will only reduce pH a tiny bit, and do that only slowly, so you have no need to worry.

I wouldn't worry too much about stressing your new fish. Do it slowly, with the tank light out, if you can see well enough! And make sure you don't put down any rocks or wood ontop of any fish
