Everything in California has that warning. I run printing equipment for a living, and have printed directions for drinking water faucets that have that warning. It's some sort of California law, being Cali they probably have some sort of legal warning for dihydrogen monoxide.
There have been a lot of deaths related to dihydrogen monoxide though... It is very dangerous stuff.

You have to remember that lawyers run things. So, now companies splash warning labels on everything for fear of being sued. Remember the lady who spilled coffee on herself and sued McDonalds because it was HOT?! Now all coffee containers have the CAUTION: CONTENTS HOT label. If I ordered coffee and it DIDN'T come hot I would sue. Getting hot coffee is just getting what you ordered. That's not worthy of a lawsuit. Secondly, the manner in which she was carrying it was the REALLY stupid part. Its a shame. They actually paid her to make the suit go away, which goes to show you how much power lawyers actually have.
