I have a 55gallon tank that is soon going to be filled up. The filters I bought for it were Eheim 2217 (250g/h) external & Eheim Aquaball 2212(160g/h).

So my total filtration is 1650/434 litres/gallons an hour. Is that considered Average or above average when filtering a 55gal mbuna tank? I want to have around 15 mbunas in my tank eventually so I guess it will be more than enough when the fish are juvs but when they grow to adults will the filters be sufficient?

any help/advice is appreciated.

That should work out nicely - it's something in the order of 6 x tank volume per hour which should be just fine. :good:

yep that's plenty of filtration, that's way over what is needed, that's nearly 8 times the volume per hour :good:
