We do that with brine shrimp don't we? We hatch em and some grow them before feed time others feed the babies. Not much difference it's all gonna be ok. Your not s bad person

What about ghost shrimp, aren't they fairly cheap? I'm sure that you could feed them to your puffer

lol, I only opened this thread because I was board and the misses said "what do you think your frineds on TFF would say about it"

So I showed her all the responses and she has gone quiet now If only shrimp were cheap enough to feed to the Puffer every day

My wife would say the same thing. I found out something very interesting that might of interest to you and give you a little insight into your wife's thought process (it did for me, anyway).


A few years ago, my wife and I were watching a documentary about wolves and caribou. The wolves were chasing the caribou and I turned to my wife and I asked her which one she was pulling for. She said, "The caribou, of course; its just a baby." I told her that I was rooting for the wolf. She asked why, and I couldn't give her answer that I knew she would like. Then we saw the wolf taking the food to its cubs. That allowed me to say, "That's why." But the truth is that I always root for the carnivore in these situations because apparently I can identify with them more. My wife identifies more with the prey than the predator. Your wife probably identified with the shrimp more, whereas you were looking at it more from the Puffer's perspective.

Ghost shrimp used to be 37 cents each here then they raised to 49 cents each.

When I had 5 fish die in my tank I did the same thing but it was my turtle in stead of a puffer he was hunger and they were already dead
Which he is always eye balling my tank when I take him out now >.>

Whilst I don't agree with live feeding I'm not going to start on about that.
Only your conscience can tell you if your a bad person, not me nor 100 others on here.
