I also thought about when Charlie and Delta (and Echo and Foxtrot and ...) would arrive! Very clever naming scheme (wish i had thought of it-im a sailor..used to sail on tallships )
I dont name my fish,really..they are collectively refereed to as fish (ie "good morning fish" or "hi fish" If im getting personal i might say "hi red fish" or "hi blue fish" "Hi pretty boy"..thats about it as far as my name scheme lovly bettas!

In the morning as I'm feeding the fish in my biOrb I usaully say 'Bonjour petit poisson!'
I really do have no idea why.

Yep, I was in the army and that's how I came up with the names. I originally named Alpha because he was the only male, so he was Alpha male. Then when I decided I loved bettas and wanted more, I thought it would be a cute theme. If they were any other fish, I wouldn't have named them either, but since they look so different it's easy to tell them apart. When I had 3 froggies I never named them cause I didn't know who was who so why bother?

When I was a kid we had fish and I used to refer to them as "Hi fishy fishy fishy"
