Used to keep a tank full of discus many moons ago, moved out to Canada and re-discovered my fishy obsession.
Currently keeping 5 beautiful big angels in a 30G tank. They have 'inherited' some unusual tank-mates: a single lonely neon (v fast swimming, fortunately for it), a tiger barb, a red fin shark, albino catfish and a couple of red eye tetras.
Just convinced a friend to buy a 30G bio-cube, possibly one of the coolest tanks ever seen!!
Very pleased to find such a cool site. My first post was to get an answer to a sick-fish question, but I'll definitely keep visiting. :D

hi angel k,
you must know a bit about keeping fish having kept discus and you'll learn more here

The thing that I have <quickly> realised is that anything I used to do, and know about 15(ish) years ago, is now wildly different.
I thought I may have been the only person in the world to still use an undergravel filter system (people in the LFS looked at me like I was some kind of weirdo).

Hence why back to being a newbie again (best I buy a few more books on 'Aquarium Keeping for Dummies')
